Yes, the new Spider-Man trailer is here! But the question everyone’s been asking: Was this movie really all that necessary? The Sam Raimi Spider-Man films (1,2 and 3), starring Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst came out not that long ago. And when you think back to it, who really saw the 3rd one? Audiences were a little Spider-Man-ed-out.
So, why the new one? Well, it seems to be a money thing. Sony, after all, doesn’t want to lose its rights to this franchise or the Spider-Man name. So… they’ve made another movie. And taking the place of Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker is Andrew Garfield (you may know him from The Social Network). The leading lady is now the talented Emma Stone.
