In the recent issue of Vogue magazine, singer Adele gave a candid interview, sharing key parts of her life. In this same interview where she describes herself as ‘bubbly and carefree’, Adele also has some harsh words for her absent father, Mark Evans. The father who was never there as she grew up. The father who sold a story to the tabloids about his daughter. Sounds like a classy guy.
Adele had a few choice words to say about the situation:
“He’s f-cking blown it,” she states, adamantly. “He will never hear from me again. Because there is nothing that would upset me more than my dad being bribed by the press. It’s like, ‘Just let them run it, then. Don’t you give them ammunition.’”
“It makes me angry. How dare you comment on my life?’ It makes my blood boil.”
And though her father claims to love her, Adele is not hearing it.
“It blows my mind,” Adele responds. “Why are you telling me that through a newspaper? If I ever see him I will spit in his face.” (thehollywoodgossip.com)
If one thing is certain, it’s that Adele knows how to triumph over hardship.
